Meet the Doctors

Dr. Wayne Walcott graduated from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 1975, and received his master's degree in restorative dentistry in 1982. He holds a faculty appointment at the School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Dentistry, and Endodontics.

A lifelong resident of the Ann Arbor Area, Dr. Brett Walcott graduated from Saline High School in 1999 and The University of Michigan with a BS in Psychology in 2002 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 2007.  After graduation, he spent a year completing an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency at Naval Hospital Great Lakes, IL.

Dr. Brett Walcott spent over six years on active duty in the United States Navy as a dental officer, stationed most recently in San Diego, California as a Staff Dentist at Balboa Naval Hospital.  He has served on deployments in the  Persian Gulf on the USS Comstock and with the Army in Afghanistan as the lead embedded Dental Advisor to the Afghan National Army and Afghanistan's Surgeon General.   He currently holds the rank of CDR in the Naval Reserves.

Dr. Walcott is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and holds membership in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Washtenaw District Dental Association, where he serves as a delegate to the MDA.  He holds a faculty appointment at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Dentistry, and Endodontics.

As a life-long learner, Dr. Walcott has spent hundreds of hours at the Spear Center for Dental Excellence and the Cerec Doctors Center in Scottsdale, Arizona to make sure he is delivering the most up-to-date Healthcare to his patients.  He is proud to be a CDOCS Mentor and to share his knowledge with other dentists around the globe.

Dr. Walcott enjoys volunteering his time and skill to serve the underprivileged and takes a yearly humanitarian trip to inland Jamaica to provide free dental care.  He has also volunteered to serve the Veterans of San Diego County as well as the people of the Maldives. 

He has been named one of HOUR DETROIT magazine's Top Dentists for 2015 as published in the June 2015 issue, in 2016 as published in the July 2016 edition, and again in 2017.

Dr. Walcott and his wife Melissa live in Saline, MI, and are the proud parents of 3 small children.
