Dr. Wayne Walcott graduated from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 1975, and received his masters degree in restorative dentistry in 1982. He holds a faculty appointment at the School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has been on the clinical faculty since 1978. He is the recipient of several teaching awards given by his students over the years.
Dr. Walcott recently retired as a Colonel, in the United States Army Reserve after a 30 year career; his last appointment was as Chief of Dental Services, 323` Combat Support Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.
He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and Washtenaw District Dental Association. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the F.B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthdontics.
Dr Walcott and his wife Candice, are the proud grandparents of 6!
A lifelong resident of the Ann Arbor Area, Dr. Brett Walcott graduated from Saline High School in 1999 and The University of Michigan with a BS in Psychology in 2002 and recieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 2007. After graduation he spent a year completing an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency at Naval Hospital Great Lakes, IL.
Dr. Brett Walcott spent six years on active duty in the United States Navy as a dental offiicer, stationed most recently in San Diego, California as a Staff Dentist at Balboa Naval Hospital. He has served on deployments in the Persian Gulf on the USS Comstock and with the Army in Afghanistan as the lead embedded Dental Advisor to the Afghan National Army and Afghanistan's Surgeon General. He holds the rank of LCDR in the Naval Reserves.
Dr. Walcott is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and holds membership in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and Washtenaw District Dental Association. Dr. Walcott and his wife Melissa live in Saline, MI and are the proud parents of 2 small children.
Sue has been with the practice for over 30 years, first as a chairside assistant, then as office manager handling all business aspects of patient care: scheduling, billing and insurance. She will be happy to assist you with insurance questions and payment plan options, if needed. She and her husband Geoff came to Ann Arbor for graduate school in 1981 and never left.
Kara has been with our practice for 6 years. Her experience is evident in her friendly and caring personality. She is the proud mother of 3 beautiful daughters.
Carissa has been with the pracitce 2 years and is a Registered Dental Assistant and a top graduate of WCC, where she earned her Associate Degree in Dental Assisting. Carissa has a strong passion for her career and learning, she will continue to further her education. When not in the office, you can find her cheering on her favorite sports teams, spending time with her family and spoiling her puppy.
Barb has been with the practice for 18 years. She comes from a family of dentists and has always enjoyed working with patients for their optimal dental health. She and her husband John have a 18 year old daughter who swims so the family spends many hours around pools. Her technical expertise and over 35 years experience make her a valuable member of our team.
Sue truly loves her patients! She wants the very best for their health and for their lives. Sue is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene, and has over 35 years of experience as a Hygienist. She constantly strives to learn about new trends in dentistry and is excited to be part of this innovative, caring, and high-tech practice. Sue is happily married with 5 children and is very active in her church and in the community.
Beth has been a dental hygienist since 1983 and is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She has been working in a dental ofï¬ce since she was 15. She truly enjoys getting to know all of her patients and helping them maintain their dental health. She and her husband Konrad live just outside Ann Arbor with their three teenage children, Ben, Katherine and Lauren. When not in the ofï¬ce, she spends her time with her family, often at soccer, hockey and baseball games.
